Objective:Before completion of surgery in general anesthesia with different doses of fentanyl, the effect was observed on the agitation after general anesthesia inhibition and prevention of postoperative agitation in the appropriate dosage. Methods:Sixty patients with ASAⅠ~Ⅱselected lateral position of urology anesthesia were randomly divided into three groups. All patients undergoing the same way, stopping the drugs 10 minutes before the end of surgery, while group F1 injected fentanyl with 1ug/kg, Group F2 fentanyl 2ug/kg, F0 group injected with saline control. Recorded blood pressure, respiratory rate, pulse and oxi-saturation in five different times.Observed the patient’s restlessness, recovery time, extubation time and postoperative adverse reactions.Result:Heart rate, blood pressure fluctuation during extubation between three groups, group F1, F2 group was significantly smaller fluctuations. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), indicating that patients given fentanyl in the recovery process showed the circulation less volatile, more stable wake. There are differences between groups with sedation agitation score(P<0.05), group F1 and group F2 showed no difference between groups (P>0.05). The extubation time of group F2 more prolonged than the group F0 and group F1 significantly (P<0.05). Fentanyl inhibited agitation, but inhibition did not enhanced with increasing the amount of fentanyl.Larger doses of fentanyl influenced respiratory recovery time and made extubation significantly longer. So in the prevention of agitation small dose of fentanyl is more appropriate. There are no significant difference among the three groups in adverse reactions (P>0.05), may be related with small sample size and sampling error. Conclusion:Fentanyl can prevent agitation of the patient in general anesthesia, which can make patients wake up smoother,1ug/kg fentanyl did not prolong the respiratory rehabilitation and recovery time.Using fentanyl got satisfactory anesthetic effect, had good clinical practice value.
