Type B hepatitis is the the prime reason of Hepatocirrhosis in China, and Hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis is a clinical common disease. Traditional Chinese Medicine has potential superiority and bright characteristic in the prevention of and treatment the disease. This research used the clinical epidemiology research principle and the method,as to discuss about the Chinese medicine syndrome clinical distribution of Hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis as well as the relation between Chinese medicine syndrome and the physics and chemistry inspection, and expect to provide the beneficial reference for the Chinese medicine in preventing and treating the disease. The present paper is divided into two parts, fundamental theoretical research and the clinical research. In the theoretical research part, I summarized the cognition of pathogenesis of hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis in the ancient and modern time, refine and expatiated the academic idea of professor Ye Yong an, and summarized the development of the syndrome and treatment of hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis currently.the clinical research part carried on statistics analysis to the clinical materials of 276 cases of hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis, by using the factor analysis method, discussed the relativity of the objective indexes. The conclusion showed that the syndrome characteristic of hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis is intermingled asthenia and sthenia syndrome. The asthenia of healthy energy involves splenic and asthenia. The sthenia mainly contains qi stagnation, blood stagnation, dampness or dampness and heat. The location of disease is in the liver and spleen, as well as kidney. The pathogenesis is the impairment of the liver and spleen, and kidney that the function of them is in a condition of confusion,Finally it results in qi and blood and dampness stagnation in abdomen. The factors such as,total bim(?), pra(?)t count, albumin number of leucocyte and platelet count affect the distribution of syndrome characteristics of hepatocirrhosis of type B hepatitis.
