Abstract


Objective: The introduction of crisis management theory to the prevention and disposal of medical disputes reveal the theory of crisis management in medical disputes , to explore effective method to reduce the occurrence of medical disputes . Methods: case study object to a hospital in Jincheng , mainly by virtue of the traditional experience of the hospital between 2002 and 2005 to prevent and deal with medical disputes , referred to as the conventional treatment group ; 2006-2009 to prevent the introduction of crisis management theory of medical disputes and disposal , called crisis management processing group . Two groups of middle-aged dispute the number of cases , the annual disputes the amount of compensation , the average amount of compensation for each case dispute , discharged per thousand disputes incidence data were compared and analyzed statistically . Results: conventional treatment group for the period 2002-2005 , total 24403 discharged patients , 51 cases of medical malpractice , annual dispute the number of cases 12.75 ± 0.96 , 25.5 ± 8.22 million , the amount of the average annual compensation , dispute the amount of compensation 2.01 ± 0.67 million per discharged 1,000 medical disputes was 2.09 ± 0.39 % 0 ; compared with conventional treatment , crisis management treated the period 2006-2009 total patients discharged from 37,666 people , there were 17 cases of medical malpractice ; average annual dispute the number of cases of 4.25 ± 1.25 cases , significantly lower than the conventional treatment group , the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.001 ) ; annual compensation of 5.75 ± 4.11 million , significantly lower than the conventional treatment group , the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.01 ) ; dispute the amount of compensation to 1.31 ± 0.72 million , significantly lower than the conventional treatment group , the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; each discharged 1,000 medical dispute was 0.45 ± 0.19 ‰ , significantly lower than the conventional treatment group, the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) . Conclusion : Jincheng a hospital after the application of crisis the management theory prevention and disposal of medical disputes , reduce the occurrence of medical disputes . Description crisis management theory there is significant value in the prevention and disposal of medical disputes .
