Abstract


This article is based on Locke's essay concerning human understanding of the content of the third volume of language as the study clue, mainly is the language of Locke's thought detailed interpretation and review, at the same time, the notion of Locke's philosophy and language are closely linked, want people to understand theory of Locke's ideas on the basis of understanding the language, the paper also detailed illustrate how language is to express ideas, thus make the theory of Locke's conception of language problem become more prominent. Locke's linguistic thought there are a lot of rich ideological content, this paper will has influence on the theory of priority, and the overall grasp the language of Locke's thought. So this article is in the comb Locke's linguistic thought premise, for the purpose of further elaboration and the research on its theory, make people can more fully understand Locke's language thought, and get the essence of it.
