Abstract


The sculpture in public environments is not only aesthetically functional and humanistic spiritual, but also the expressions of the feelings and consciousness of the artists.the sculpture itself is the medium of communication which is a platform between the individual and society. The artist plays a role as the organizers of the society in some level. They have the ability to provide spiritual aid to the public through their works, planting their self-consciousness into the social collective. However, how to embody the humanities concern? Is meeting the public requirements only the general meaning of "popular"? The answer is no. Emphasizing the expressions of public sculpture means "spirit" and "initiative". The expressions of public sculpture are not only "integrate" and "compromise", but also to find the "eternity" and "essence" of the world. The artists should pour their emotional consciousness into the public sculpture using their wisdom in order to make the public art directional and inspiring."The meaning of the expressions of the public sculpture", "The relationship between environmental factors and the emotions of the sculptures" and "The communication between the emotions of the public sculpture and the public emotions" in this article is to demonstrate that no one can experience all their experience, they can’t leave their social environments where they’ve been growing in. The forming of the consciousness cannot be without the establishing of the concept. But the exploration and pursue of the public constitute the evaluation and emotional expression around the world in today’s society, the expression of emotion are developing in a harmonious way to achieve the unification with the environment.
