Abstract


Mongolian yurt is a unique arid steppe plateau geographic features with the traditional nomadic culture of long-term integration of the result of evolution , reflecting the rich regional architecture cultural identity. In the current active mining heritage grassland protection and innovation development process, the yurt as a long-term adaptation grassland nomadic dwellings special form of cultural protection has urgent requirements and special development value . In this paper, the Mongolian plateau yurts, yurt building a detailed analysis of technical features, combined with the needs of modern society put forward the idea of ??yurts feature adaptation to yurt mobility as the basis for an innovative design study attempts to explore the protection and development of a yurt the new road.
