Abstract


Contemporary Chinese widespread gender discrimination , so how to change women's subordinate status , creating a pattern of gender equality has become the main theme of the times . In this paper summarized and analyzed the literature method of combining qualitative and quantitative methods , logical analysis method, first the Marxist theory and women 's development of its party leaders reviewed and summarized . Then from the economic, political, educational , cultural, family and other aspects of the development of contemporary Chinese women faced major problems. Then, under the guidance of Marxist views on women , revealing the contemporary existence of gender discrimination and substance of the main reasons . Finally , we propose to achieve gender equality for the practical significance of building a harmonious society and a harmonious society in the process of achieving gender equality in fundamental ways and realistic way .
