Abstract


With the rapid development and wide spread use of the Internet has become an important high school students crowd . Because they are in an important period of physical and mental development , self-identity has not yet fully formed, self-awareness is not stable, self-control is poor, so excessive and inappropriate use of the Internet on the students ' learning and life had a tremendous effects . In this study, Kaifeng , Zhoukou , Nanyang, Zhengzhou select 650 secondary school students were tested , using the Youth Network Social Support Questionnaire , Adolescent Pathological Internet Use Scale and self-identity questionnaire Students examine social support networks , self- identity and Pathological Internet relationship use . Research found that: ( 1 ) high school students in the family sources of social support networks , whether there is a significant difference only child . In the network of social support scores on each dimension of urban high school students was significantly higher than the rural high school students , one child was significantly higher than non-child . ( 2 ) Students' social support networks and Pathological Internet Use was a significant positive correlation ; ( 3 ) self- identity and social support networks was a significant negative correlation ; ( 4 ) , after controlling for demographic variables , social support networks pathological Internet usage has significant predictive effect ; ( 5 ) self-identity crisis in the past and future aspirations of self into two dimensions of social support networks in students and pathological Internet Use among play a regulatory role .
