Abstract

Economic recession and social unrest triggered by the 1997 Asian financial crisis and the financial crisis in Latin America in 2003 is still fresh, the subprime mortgage crisis in the United States in 2008, evolved into a global financial crisis. Developed and developing countries in the period from 1973 to 1997, the financial crisis broke out 44 times and 95 times respectively. The outbreak of the financial crisis, the adverse impact on all aspects of social life, such as the deterioration of the situation of increasing poverty and income distribution. Different different effects of the crisis on poverty and income distribution, and its comparative analysis necessarily of great significance. From the point of view of the impact of financial crisis on income distribution, channels and mechanism first analyzes the crisis affecting the distribution of income, and provide support for the theoretical analysis framework structures. The impact of the country's income distribution occurred on four typical financial crisis erupted in Japan, the United States, Asian countries and Mexico crisis empirical research, and compare their similarities and differences. Research shows that financial crises often lead to a widening gap of income distribution, the negative impact of this effect on income distribution situation of developing countries and emerging economies even more than developed countries, and income distribution effects of the financial crisis, not only in crisis , in which the crisis brewing process. Finally, we study the income distribution policy choices under the financial crisis, and based on the reality of our country, and discusses the importance of establishing a social security system compatible with a country's economic development level and the distribution of income situation. Through in-depth analysis, the paper argues that a sound social security system is the most effective tool for a country's response to the financial crisis. First of all, improve the social security system has enhanced the ability of residents to deal with the financial crisis. The United States and Japan are sound social security system in developed countries, the analysis shows that facing a severe financial crisis, the social security system and emergency protection scheme together, making the different income groups get different levels of subsidies and tax breaks, household income and consumption levels have not been seriously affected, the income distribution has not worsened. Second, the period from 1994 to 1995, the Mexican crisis showed that the income distribution effects of the financial crisis may be manifested in the course of the crisis of accumulation and brewing. This fact shows that often is not enough to improve the social security system is the one country to withstand the impact of the financial crisis, the most effective tools to develop appropriate rescue and protection scheme only after the outbreak of the crisis.
