Electrical tomography (Electrical Tomography, ET), after nearly two decades of development, has made considerable progress. The technology for its non-radiation , non-invasive , fast response , portability, and other technical advantages , clinical care in the medical and industrial measurement has broad application prospects. In this paper from the image reconstruction algorithms and visualization software such two aspects of ET systems to make improvements , the main work and conclusions are as follows :, ERT system is the lack of accurate quantitative research is limited quantitative information technology to promote the big ET factors , there are two main reasons summarized : due to the inherent characteristics of ET inverse problem , that is not sensitive to the measured field center , resulting in the reconstructed image gray value in the central region and the edge region a huge difference ; Second, for ERT (Electrical Resistance Tomography) systems, no more ideal image grayscale - conductivity parameter mappings. In response to these two questions , the authors conducted in-depth research, combined with COMSOL, MATLAB simulation and a large number of experiments , an image correction algorithm is proposed and pressure calibration . In the gas - liquid drum kits bed applications , you can get more accurate information on the measured field conductivity values ??, and achieved good results . Second, multi-threaded visualization software developed on the basis of the original system design based on multi -threaded sleeve imaging software system, which has several independent threads can be processed in parallel imaging work, the more time-consuming operation , make full use of advantages of multi-core processors in parallel computing . The system DLL-based modular design, flexibility, convenience teamwork, software upgrades. At the same time , optimizing the OpenGL graphics module , a substantial increase drawing efficiency . Finally, the summary of this research work , an improved method of , and make recommendations for the next step .
