Objective: To investigate the change and pulsed electromagnetic fields on the effects of TGF-β1 expression of TGF-β1 expression after sciatic nerve injury . Method ; rat sciatic nerve injury in animal models , 52 SD rats were randomly divided into normal group of four treatment groups, pinch group and control group ( n = 16 ) , according to the time of surgery time and experimental animals were sacrificed drawn different The group was randomly divided into four -phase observation point after 1d, 3d , 7d , 14d , each of four rats . Pinch group : right sciatic nerve entrapment , be Blank electromagnetic field therapy ( magnetic field strength 0) ; treatment group : folder hurt the right side of the sciatic nerve , be the pulsed electromagnetic field therapy ; control group : soon incision exposed sciatic nerve suture , not given to any other processing ; normal group : do not give any intervention , to maintain the same rearing conditions to the end of the trial . Assess the functional status of the sciatic functional index (SFI) , HE staining histological changes Immunohistochemical Detection of TGF-β1 expression quantitative analysis with a computer image processing system . Results: SFI value and damage of the treatment group compared to the group was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). 2: HE staining under light microscope observation : treatment group neurodegeneration than severe injury group . 3: TGF-β1 expression in injured nerves continued to increase and reached the highest value in the test endpoint , the treatment group compared with the injury group , TGF-β1 expression increased postoperative 1d, 3d , 7d , 14d was statistically significant ( P <0.05). Conclusion : 1 PEMFs no significant role in the early functional recovery of nerve injury . 2 PEMFs can accelerate the process of damage early Wallerian degeneration of the distal nerve segment . 3 TGF-β1 expression increased in injured nerves , increased gradually within the observation time point , PEMFs enable the rising curve to the left , indicating that PEMFs can promote the expression of TGF-β1 after peripheral nerve injury , suggesting that PEMFs the role of the peripheral nerves may by TGF-β1 .
