Objective : To study the centipede extract in vivo inhibition of breast cancer , and to explore the Centipede mechanism for inhibiting the growth of breast cancer cells extract extract (ECP) clinical treatment of breast cancer to provide a theoretical basis for the centipede . Method: 1. Establishment of ectopic breast cancer model nude mouse MCF-7 human centipede extract orally , tumor growth was observed , the nude mouse thymus and spleen weight and breast cancer metastasis . 2 . Tumor tissue using immunohistochemistry BCL -2 , Bax, vascular endothelial growth factor (VascularEndothelial Growth Factor, VEGF) and angiopoietin 2 (Angiopoietin2, Ang-2) detection . Results: 1 nude mice MCF-7 human ectopic breast cancer model success rate of 100%. 2 . Centipede extract significantly inhibited nude MCF-7 xenografts , 31 days after transplantation , the mean tumor volume of the control group ( 5073.5 ± 562.2 ) mm 3, treatment group (3248.1 ± 388.6) mm to 3 ; inhibition rate of 36% , the two groups have significant differences . Thymus index in the treatment group (2.15 ± 0.43)%, ( 10.63 ± 3.70) % spleen index ; in the control group , the thymus index ( 0.81 ± 0.27 ) % , spleen index ( 7.90 ± 2.58 ) % . The two groups , there are significant differences . 3 in the control group , the BCL -2 , VEGF and Ang-2 number of positive staining cells , staining intensity and OD value than those in the treatment group are many and strong, and Bax in number of positive staining cells , staining intensity , and the OD value of treatment group of small and weak , they showed significant differences ( p <0.01 ) . Conclusion: 1 . Centipede extract can inhibit the growth of nude mice MCF-7 xenografts , its mechanism and inhibition of tumor angiogenesis and promote apoptosis of tumor cells . Centipede extract could improve the nude thymus index and spleen index , enhance the immune function of nude mice .
