Abstract


The critique theory of painting of Song Dynasty,whether its completeness of classification,the intact of the system or deepness of the point of view,which can be recognized as the model case of the critique history of Chinese Painting. The Song Dynasty had taken over the critique theory of painting of the South-North Dynasties to Sui and Tang Dynasties,which had unified to a new one and had new development.The painting classification of Song Dynasty formed the situation with three contenders which include figure,landscape and flower-and-bird,because of the thrive of the landscape and flower-and-bird painting.So,it gives rise to the development of the form of the critique of Song Dynasty painting from value judgment to classification.While the civil esteemed society environments of Song Dynasty made a series of changes over the appreciation of the beauty of the painting criticizer.The New Confucianism and Zen then become the two important theories of the cirtique of Song Dynasty painting .At the same time,two art options of poetry express and one’s inner tranquility showed clearly.In respect of the standards of painting critique,the criticizer of Song Dynasty painting began to emphasize the standards of“real”,“leisure”and“personality”to request and rule the painting and criticized the disadvantages of the painting.These made some profound influences to the works of the latter paintings and the critique of paintings.This thesis made a detailed demonstration on the abov-mentioned aspects ,which is hope to make a deep grasp to the critique of paintings in morden times,through the analysis and research of the critique theory of painting of Song Dynasty.
