Abstract


Translation as a cross-cultural communication activities to be widely accepted, it relates to the three aspects of the original author , the translator and the target language readers . Mode of thinking is the subject reflect the object 's thought process , stereotyped form of thinking , way of thinking and thinking processes integrated and unified . People from different cultures is a reflection of the objective world has a different way or a different mode of thinking to reflect the objective world . Under the influence of the inherent mindset , and the same thing , people have different means of expression , which poses a barrier to cross - cultural communication . Cross - cultural translation , the original author and target language readers have different cultural backgrounds and different mode of thinking , often result in a barrier to understanding or misunderstanding . This requires the translator dealing with communication barriers caused by different mode of thinking , should take appropriate translation strategies to help target language readers across cultural barriers , to obtain a correct interpretation of the text . This paper attempts to analysis of language differences , trying to explore some of the Chinese-English translation should take specific translation strategy, in order to convey the original meaning greatest success from the point of view of the mode of thinking . Mode of thinking has an important influence on the language , the language of all ethnic groups in large part a reflection of the inherent mode of thinking of the various ethnic groups , the authors believe translator accurate grasp of the language differences caused by differences in mode of thinking to them in cross-cultural translation strive to obtain accurate translation is essential. This paper discusses the relationship between thinking, language and translation , detailed comparison discusses the many differences of Chinese and English mode of thinking , and in-depth discussion of the mode of thinking reflect the differences in the language , in order to provide an explanation for the Chinese-English translation practice force and guidance. To Chinese Thought modes and effects under some special way the English translation as an example, trying to explore some of the Chinese-English Translation able to take concrete and effective translation strategies .
