Abstract


Shen Congwen was an important writer with special literary character and glamor in the Chinese Mordern Literature history. He treated literature as a distinctive form of life and created a new "Xiangxi World" with series of stories and proses about Xiangxi. His concious acceptance of hometown proved that he was closely related in mind to his hometown. While Li jieren, a writer of the identical era, from examining the new cindition of the literature home and abroad, emerged skillfully a full view of "Bashu World" with series of "Big River Stories". These two writers focused on hometown and childhood; narrated The previous characters, surroundings, language, stories and life experience; comprehended life with literature and this resulted in the distinction between two literary beauty appreciation-refined quiet and glamor.The thesis is made up of five parts. In the introductory remarks, the author presented the subjects of the research by clarifying the two writers Shen Congwen and Li jieren and the present research conditions as well as its realistic significance. In the meantime, the author raised the methods and train of thought of the research. In the second and third parts, the author analyzed and summarized the two writers and the features of their works on literary creation view and literary appreciation. In the fourth part, the author compared and analyzed the two writers’ works from literary appreciation visual angle. By following the principles of literary creation, excavated the objective distinction between their works on literary appreciation, thought about and analyzed the reasons of the distinction formation and consequently summarized the concrete distinction between them. In the part of "summary", the author expounded the distinction from literary appreciation comparation, and presented that the distinction of literary appreciation decided the difference of expression and original image, which are actually interlinked and complemented. All through the thesis, by combining the theory presentation with version analyzing, macroscopic expounding with micromic inspecting, the author made a relatively comprehensive research on Shen and Li’s stories and raised some originally creative opinions.
