Abstract


Spatial imagination as closely related to the ability of a geometry learning , high school chemistry learning , especially in the study of the structure of matter and the nature of its role also can not be ignored . On the basis of the literature , the spatial imagination include three aspects: the accumulation of space representation , psychological operations and appearance of existing space to create a new three-dimensional model . The the ROT test survey using the adaptation of a sophomore student space imagination , self of the structure of matter and the nature of the test survey student learning on two test scores were related analysis . Meanwhile, the job to select typical cases trace analysis , the proven space imagine the ability of the three aspects of the structure of matter and the nature of the learning process . The survey results show that the spatial imagination of sophomore students generally normal distribution space to imagine the level of competence of the boys better than girls , and between the the ROT test results and the test results of the module there is significant correlation . Case tracking results show that : the accumulation in the minds of students space representation is conducive to learning of the molecular structure and the nature of knowledge ; the existing space representation of the level of mental operations affecting students understand the crystal common sense ; , will affect the ability to build a new three-dimensional model of the four types of crystals learning . Finally, it is pointed out that the module teaching , teachers should make full use of a variety of teaching resources , to strengthen the academic collaboration and increase exercise opportunities , help students to accumulate a wealth of space representation , to improve the learning outcomes of the module .
