Abstract


This paper mainly discusses the characteristics of the development of the high school students in English learning motivation , gender differences , as well as students' perception of English teachers teaching behavior of their English learning motivation . This study a sampling survey of 295 general focus on high school students , and statistical analysis of the collected data , and reached the following conclusions : ( 1) high school students of the school English learning motivation is a motivation , external regulation of motivation , the projected regulation of motivation , identity continuum regulate motivation and intrinsic motivation . (2 ) high school students of the school intrinsic motivation and external regulation of motivation exist significant grade differences . Specific performance: one sophomore lower intrinsic motivation , intrinsic motivation is a slight increase in the high school senior ; The external adjustment motivation growth and gradually increased with grade . ( 3 ) The school high school students in English learning motivation there are gender differences. Higher than girls , girls , boys no motivation and external regulation of motivation intrinsic motivation and identified regulation motivation than boys. (4) the behavior of school students' perception of English teachers and English learning motivation significantly correlated . Perceived teacher autonomy support and feedback on students' intrinsic motivation and identified regulation motivation positive role . Having sex with students , teachers perceived control external regulation of motivation and projected positively related to regulation of motivation , but no effect on students' intrinsic motivation and identified regulation motivation . This result is different from the Western to the results of similar studies .
