There is no doubt that the mass media has been full penetration of the contemporary American political life , the media in the presidential election plays a pivotal role . The presidential candidates need to market themselves through the mass media and the mass media is to attract readers, viewers or listeners hope that through this event in the presidential election , in order to gain greater economic benefits . In summary , this paper includes four parts . The first chapter is an introduction part .
