Climate environment and human survival and development is closely related to the paleoclimate environmental studies to provide a scientific basis for the research of today and the future of climate change as an important branch of climate science . Ancient climate and environment a huge amount of scientific and technological resources , and data processing and information systems research organizations to adopt a wide range of different data formats , caused the ancient climate and environment information system data sharing difficulties , data compatible with versatility , and low efficiency for data usage . Therefore, the establishment of a paleoclimate environmental technology resource sharing platform , to provide data storage of the ancient climate and environment science experiments , publish , distribute , online analysis , and data access and other services , auxiliary paleoclimatic environment analysis and simulation, and climate models related research has important theoretical and practical significance . The authors explore the key technology of the ancient climate and environment technology resource sharing platform , including metadata NetCDF data format , the the GrADS climate data analysis systems , heterogeneous systems integration theory and software implementation technologies . On the basis of theoretical research and systems analysis , the authors propose a network and software architecture of the ancient climate and environment technology resource sharing platform . NetCDF data based on the Web Services architecture NetCDF data and efficient access to heterogeneous platforms to achieve the technical basis for the lack of traditional NetCDF data set access software , . Finally , in the Windows Server 2003 operating system , Microsoft.NET environment , the authors developed the ancient climate and environment technology resource sharing platform software system , including metadata publishing management , analysis of paleoclimate data online , NetCDF data acquisition , conversion translator background management software modules . Web platforms and heterogeneous the GrADS meteorological data analysis system integration , as well as online analytical applications paleoclimate data visualization , provides advanced and practical environment with tools for the ancient climate and environment technology resource sharing and collaboration exchange . This paper details of the research and development work .
