With the rapid development of the computer intelligent control technology andnetwork technology, monitoring software system plays an important role in theinformation industry; configuration software has obtained rapid development in the fieldof industrial control. As a general human-computer interaction tool, graphicalconfiguration has a significant position in configuration software because it can realize therapid development of applications well.In the view of the function of configuration software, with the scale of the field ofindustrial control expanding, the structure becomes more and more complicated, themonitoring information increase gradually, and users become more mature, they call for ahigher demand for the functionality and performance of the monitoring system, whiletraditional configuration software has many insufficiencies´╝îsuch as bloated client, unableto check real-time information through the network and poor reusability etc. Most of themare developed for specific areas and specific scene, they are unable to fully adapt toextensible user demand.Reference to development idea of traditional configuration software, the paperresearches in the view of configuration modeling, designs a configuration modelingprecept under the network environment that means the system builds visual model forgraphical configuration system under the network environment, including graphic objectmodeling, information object modeling and data object modeling. Graphic objectmodeling build model by learning from part of the Unified Modeling Language (UnifiedModeling Language, UML); Information object modeling establish a data dictionary indextable to achieve the objects to database tables complete mapping mechanism throughdynamic configuration, it improves system flexibility and reuse queries; Data objectmodeling establish the corresponding template, and realize data modeling through batchimport. Finally it provides a simple, easy-to-use graphical configuration design system foruser through these three aspects modeling. When new demand comes up, developers donot need to go to recodify or design software in order to adapt to the new demands, theuser can quickly build a monitoring system that he wants, and it improves the reusability and secondary development ability of configuration software design system.At last, this paper builds a set of configuration software design system by usingconfiguration modeling, and uses the design system to develop an application system. Inthis process, this paper establishes the model and implements it, and verifies the feasibilityand reliability of the modeling of the configuration.
