Abstract


Sustainable development is one of the most important fronts including economic, environmental , social , and other disciplines . To achieve the sustainable development of our country and the whole of human society , based on regional sustainable development of regional sustainable development is an important part of sustainable development at this stage of the study . The natural environment and resources given conditions , geographical location , historical factors and political and economic factors caused by the presence of regional sustainable development space differences , using quantitative methods to reveal the spatial difference of regional sustainable development , and implementation of sustainable development for the region The strategic decision to provide a scientific basis . This paper summarizes the existing regional sustainable development evaluation theory and model based on the characteristics of the regional sustainable development evaluation index system , combined with the specific circumstances of the study area , the establishment of a regional sustainable development evaluation index system . Independence between the selected indicators inevitably there are some problems , there may be a strong correlation between some indicators , this article uses multivariate statistical factor analysis to reduce the dimension of the indicator information included substantially all part of the original information composite indicator analysis and evaluation capacity for sustainable development of the region ; regional sustainable development system complexity and ambiguity of this paper to take fuzzy clustering analysis method to classify the regional capacity for sustainable development , to achieve the fuzzy quantitative description . In this paper, Yantai City , for example , according to the 2005 Statistical Yearbook of Yantai City , Yantai urban counties in 2004 , the regional sustainable development evaluation data calculated respectively using factor analysis and fuzzy clustering analysis of Yantai counties evaluation and classification of urban sustainable development capacity , the results are objective and impartial , in line with the actual situation . Finally, the common factor and the results of the evaluation of sustainable development based on the impact of Yantai City, city and county (district ) , put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the sustainable development of Yantai City region . The innovation of this paper : (1) for the first time constructed to reflect the evaluation index system of regional sustainable development in Yantai City ; ( 2) for the first time a quantitative evaluation and analysis of Yantai City, the spatial difference of regional sustainable development .
