Work safety is crucial to the safety of people’s life and property, and to the social reform, development and stability. Though the accidents are decreasing year by year, the death toll in 2009 reached 89136. Accident investigation is very important, which plays a key role in affixing the responsibility and preventing accidents. However, how the accident investigation team is organized and operated is hardly known to the public.This essay has three parts related with accidents investigation, introducing the laws, systems, sufficiency and suggestions.The first part is about brief introduction on concept, conditions, classification, exceptional and special examples of work safety accidents, historical evolution of investigation systems ect.The second part is introduction on the investigation system, such as its organization, mechanism, procedure, conclusion, and official reply on investigation report.The third part is introduction on the improvement of investigation system, which gives suggestions by analyzing the forms, procedure and relief on responsibility identification.
