Abstract


Turpan is unique temperate arid desert climate . Winter minimum temperature of -25.2 ° C , the highest summer temperature was 47.7 ° C. In this climate conditions , the masonry structure wall cracks is widespread . To reduce the extent of the crack , the construction department of the Turpan area once masonry structure housing the largest expansion joint spacing is 40 meters , 10 meters less than the specification . To this end , this paper , on the basis of a large number of research , selected two typical masonry structure , its three - year observations of temperature and deformation observation in order to get the most adverse climatic conditions temperature field and thermal deformation law investigated on the basis of temperature stress with the law of the change in length of the building at the same time to explore the impact of other factors on the masonry temperature stress , temperature expansion joints maximum spacing of cracks in the masonry structure mechanism and laws , and thus concluded : of Turpan City brickwork structure housing expansion joint spacing should standardize consistent , maintain 50m unchanged . But should be in accordance with regulatory requirements from materials , structures and other aspects considering to control the temperature of the masonry structure cracks . And thus lay the foundation for the effective control of the the masonry structural cracks crack development . In this paper, the following aspects : ( 1) To investigate the mechanism of the masonry structure temperature cracks summarized the common masonry structure temperature fracture types ; ( 2 ) of Turpan City cracks in masonry structure survey ; ( 3 ) the typical housing the temperature field in a one-year observation and deformation observations ; (4 ) Tie dream simplified method and finite element method analysis of the most adverse temperature field , the temperature stress of the masonry structure with telescopic seam length variation ; ( 5 ) pointed out that the largest expansion joint spacing of masonry structural cracks investigated , starting from the largest expansion joint spacing values ??, material , structural measures and other aspects masonry structure wall temperature cracks control measures .
