Abstract


With the development of the science and the living culture, the redesign of the waterway has been a bran-new subject. Through the study of the renovation of the canal waterfront, we will provide a good urban living space and ecological environment; create the beautiful living environment, meliorate the urban visage, improve the living level and living condition. This can efficiently upgrade the quality of the city and the integrate competitiveness; also has the significant social benefits, environmental benefits and indirect economic benefits.The ancient canal flows through the Changzhou city, so it has unique value to do the protection and development and utilization. The scope of the renovation includes: Qing guo avenue, north shore and the former residents of Bo yan Lee、Xuan huai Sheng、Guo jun Liu. We will repair the shipping shore and make the landscape in both sides in order to show the glamour of the ancient canal. With the process of the time, the general public has the certain attitude on the construction of urban renovation, especially on the renovation of the water environment, because it plays important part in meliorating the water environment, improving the life quality of the citizen living in the low-lying areas, upgrading the level and well-known、affinity、and the tourist of Changzhou. All these will do well for the development of the economy of Changzhou.The renovation of waterfront is always with various requirements and features of the environment, compared with the ordinary project, it can solve more problems. Because of this more related science knowledge should be widely used, for example: landscape ecology, water system planning, water pollution management, protection of the history, city design and the tourism development.This paper cites the geographical characteristics theory, continuous development theory and organic renovation theory to discuss the issue about environment redesign of the waterfront from three aspects—city functions, history and natural environment. It also relies on the actual projects, the internal and external analysis of the cases; try to get the multi-target solution of this issue. All these provide the theory and the basis for the redesign of the waterfront in our country.Through the control of redesign of the landscape, it can make the renovation of the water front be more scientific, the water space keeps continuous development, the ecosystem be consummated constantly, the quality of the urban landscape be highly improved. All these are the main proposal for this theme.
