Abstract


With the development of electronic chart navigation systems and embedded technology , embedded electronic chart navigation system based on the embedded 32-bit microprocessor and embedded operating system has become a developing trend in the field of electronic chart navigation . Embedded electronic chart navigation systems and electronic chart navigation system based on PC platform , compared with a compact , high reliability, and low cost . This paper analyzes the current development of the electronic chart navigation systems and embedded technology , design an embedded electronic chart navigation system , the system uses a high-performance embedded microprocessor ARM9 core S3C2410A CPU , embedded operating system Windows CE.net , an external GPS receiver device , keyboard , mouse , and the LCD screen and integrated large-capacity SD card to store electronic chart data , chart display , the determination of the planned route , sailing monitoring , record of navigation and positioning and navigation and other functions. The system can be used as a handheld device can also be installed for use in small and medium - sized ships . Completed a task hardware design and chart display part of the contents , the contents of the rest is done by other students . The paper first analyzes the system hardware design of the overall program , and in accordance with this overall program based the Bory MC2410E development board hardware platform design and construction . Secondly, according to the system requirements , custom operating system of the present system needs the Windows CE.net , and transferred to the target device board . Then study published by the Insurance Department of the Naval Air military in line with China's national military standard vector format (Military Vector Chart Format, MVCF) electronic chart data formats, and defines the data structure . Finally, the electronic chart display adjusted figure shows the principle and design software flow chart display .
