Abstract

The world today, with the changes in the form of war, with use of high-tech weaponry in the army, for the most critical factors that determine the outcome of the war - military personnel put forward higher requirements. For the soldiers, they have not only need strong physique, with a certain degree of intelligence level is critical, a certain level of intelligence is the basis of learning and operating a variety of high-tech weaponry. Vocabulary ability to understand the basis of language ability and human understanding of all the affairs of the fundamental, which is related to the height of human thinking, is the most basic of smart, has a lot of intelligence tests on vocabulary comprehension measurement, has been by the human resource management department of the attention of national armed forces. Psychological testing process of conscription into the armed forces, to increase the detection of the ability to understand the vocabulary, has a very important significance to further improve the quality of our country's soldiers, and enhance the combat effectiveness of the armed forces. Item Response Theory (Item Response Theory, IRT) is a kind of modern measurement theory, the performance advantage of it in the parameters invariance, the the quiz information function concept proposed, in particular, item response theory computer self-adaptive test (Computerized Adaptive basis for the application of the Test, CAT), CAT through the application of computer programs for each one was to provide the best test, not only can improve test efficiency, conducive to confidentiality, also facilitate timely sentenced points. Item response theory with its many advantages, is widely used in the military, psychological and educational fields. The main purpose of this topic is to establish a set of candidates civic vocabulary comprehension skills tests based on item response theory, the the civic vocabulary tests the ability to understand our candidates CAT Exam construction lay the foundation for our candidates citizen psychological selection and service, to improve the quality of troops. This study on the basis of the literature review, according to the project reaction theory and vocabulary comprehension ability test theory, preparation of projects and quizzes, preparation of project 340 total, composed of five sets of papers, first in the form of written tests preliminary experiments to explore IRT theoretical preparation of the feasibility of the vocabulary test of ability to understand. Then, on the basis of the preliminary experiments, according to the actual situation of the conscription heart detection work, test questions adjustments, consisting of 10 sets of papers compiled into a computer-aided tests. The three-parameter logistic model using the riveting questions equivalents design, these 10 different papers in the the conscription psychological testing process Surveying. According to the test results, analysis of the entries, and finally selected 244 high-quality entries constitute quiz WAIS intelligence measured vocabulary subtest verify criterion validity. The main findings of the study are as follows: 1. Prepared vocabulary comprehension skills tests in line with the three-parameter logistic model to meet the one-dimensional assumption, given time to meet the tests have not been accelerated assumptions. Can successfully get the various parameters. Adopt the riveting questions equivalents method, marginal maximum likelihood estimation (MMLE) project parameters, the subjects ability parameters Bayesian posterior expectation estimated (EAPE). Prepared quiz entry better discrimination and guessing parameter ideal, but the difficulty parameter is too large. Project information functions and test information function are ideal. 4 the vocabulary comprehension tests and the WAIS intelligence tests vocabulary subtest, a significant positive correlation. Found in the present study, the difficulty of the project and the method of preparation of project options was significantly associated with the kinds of questions and vocabulary grade sources weaker.
