Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the situation of college English teaching reform of college English teachers in the classroom and after school for English learners confidence behavioral effects of teacher behavior to understand the English language learners confidence affect the general characteristics; through Taipan respectively lessons, small classes and online self-study teacher behavior under three scenarios for the analysis of the impact of learner self-confidence, discover teacher behavior under different scenarios the impact on learner self-confidence are different, and further analysis of its underlying causes, as college English teaching reform and related policy development to provide theoretical and empirical basis. On the basis of the questionnaire, this study stratified sampling approach, students participate in a survey from the selected eight people were interviewed to understand and analyze the behavior of different teachers of English learners to learn how it affects confidence. According to research data collected, the authors found that: 1. At the same time, teachers should change their ideas, to adapt to new roles. Humanism emphasizes each learner is an individual with its own unique needs and interests of each learner as a teacher only to independent individuals, for proper recognition of their progress, language learning is most effective. Teachers should be good at observing the performance of each learner and each learner's performance against the appropriate feedback. This study has its limitations. First, the survey is not comprehensive enough, did not know whether the conduct of teachers at different levels, different levels of learners have different effects. Secondly, the use of stratified sampling can not guarantee that the selected objects to one hundred percent on behalf of all non-English majors.
