Abstract


In recent years, many scholars have emotional variables and the relationship between foreign language learning in depth research. Feelings of anxiety as an important factor in the field of second language acquisition more and more scholars. Despite the strong emphasis on contemporary teaching English listening and speaking skills, but reading is still regarded to obtain information of the best ways to understand the world, foreign language reading anxiety is closely linked with the emotional factor. Reading Teaching vocabulary learning emphasize students' autonomous learning vocabulary through contextual capabilities, including the right words meaning actively, guess the word active vocabulary is an effective way to deal with. Foreign language reading anxiety at home and abroad on study of history, present situation and development direction, inspired by the author tries to investigate the non-English major students' English reading anxiety situation, as well as foreign language reading anxiety and speculation related words. Literature review describes some of the major domestic and international overview of the research, as well as basic concepts, including anxiety theory, anxiety type, language anxiety and reading anxiety. This theory starting from a different anxiety on Horwitz's theory, Krashen's affective filter, as well as the role of anxiety on foreign language learning was introduced. It also briefly describes reading incidental vocabulary learning theory and the skills and strategies to guess words. In the third chapter, the author 187 non-English majors as the research object, based on their research, the four research questions: 1. Foreign Language Reading Anxiety and between words to guess whether there is a significant correlation? 2. In foreign language reading anxiety, anxiety factor for vocabulary situation, it scores with words to guess whether there is a significant correlation? 3. foreign language reading anxiety, anxiety generated for other factors the circumstances, the results of their words to guess what impact? 4 case for foreign language reading anxiety reading attitudes and means of processing words what impact? authors in chapter four research on this problem by SPSS11.0 statistical software for all data and analyzed the results , reached the following conclusions: Foreign Language Reading Anxiety and words to guess the results were significantly negative correlation. Vocabulary Foreign Language Reading Anxiety Anxiety is a major factor, but not the highest correlation with the vocabulary guess factors; foreign language reading anxiety and other factors have more words to guess the results significantly negative correlation. In addition, foreign language reading anxiety treatment for the words do have a certain attitude and means of influence. In the fifth chapter, the author according to the study results were analyzed, and the corresponding teaching strategies and comments, and pointed out that in this study there are still limitations, and future research directions.
