Abstract


\This paper will analyze the hero Jane's life experiences, seek out lonely road. Jane's life experience is the focus of this analysis, Fromm's theory about love and caring Noddings theory is used to explain various phenomena simply experience. Thesis consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction, first of Doris Lessing and predecessors of the \of a dilemma, Jane's experience proves love is a way out of this dilemma. The second part is the first chapter, made the loneliness of human existence in the phenomenon. Loneliness is the works of many writers are related to a theme, is the universal human dilemma. Similarly Lessing works, many of whom are also in lonely helplessness. The second chapter first analyzes why people alone and lonely human impact. Then briefly discusses the lonely people in the process of trying to get rid of all kinds of errors into. Jane and her mother, husband and friend relationships as well as other characters in the novel comprehensive analysis of relationships that human relationships in modern society has been alienated, depersonalized. Fromm on human and social development studies have confirmed this. Such relationships can not produce alienation between people honest communication. People are caught alone. Loneliness has a destructive force, so that people can not live positively, and may even make people go crazy, insane. Whether it is \However, these methods can not make people active in the face of life, and may even make people go astray, more lonely. Chapter III discusses in detail with Modi Jane, Richard and Kate exchanges. Simple as daughters, mothers and lovers experience shows love is to overcome loneliness, ways to grow. Analysis of these experiences will follow the four elements of care that give, responsibility, respect and understanding. Jane gives Modi, Richard and Kate's love is not to give her own mother and her husband. She tried to understand them, care for them and respect their life choices. In this process of care, Jane's daughter by an indifference, apathy wife into a rich emotional person. Learned from Modi who love life, grateful, learned to face life bravely without losing dignity.
