Abstract

The name of Genesis is from the Old Testament, which is a poetic description of sunshine, water, earth and lives. Genesis means not only the birth of resplendency, but also a serious and hard creation. Through protracted and unremitting efforts, Genesis made a great contribution to the appearance of successful and numerous poets for Chinese modem verse.Genesis poets emphasize the build of images and perceptual world. By the way of thorough traditional feelings and imago, they show the reality and their imagination. They see the reality and history with modern eyes, and introduce modern skills from western countries to serve the Chinese modern verse.This thesis tries to take the generation as the breakthrough point, and analyze the Genesis poem society in aespects as follows:I. Succession of generation and change of style. In shis part, the author sorts through the change of Genesis poem society’s creation style. From "New Race Poem Style" to "Superrealism", to "Great China Poem viewpoint", the Genesis poem society draw a arch locus of the three generation poet’s continual pursuing and exploring between nationality and modernity. In the process of its change, the author inspects the dialog and concordancy of different generations, and gives prominence to the Genesis poem society’s process of metamorphosis, from "native steelmaking process" to "mixture of foreign and countrified", to "three generations family", and shows the fusion and interaction of wild poets and academism.II.Cross- generational cultural spirit. In this part, the author analyzes the cultural spirit of Genesis poem society, and believes that the soul of "Confucian", character of "infatuation" and demeanor of "devil" form the three aspects of cultural spirit of Genesis poem society. "Seeking the way back to home" is the first aspect of scholar’s tradition and the core and soul of cultural spirit; "Grace neutralizing suffering" is the second aspect of the pure poem passion and the flag and character of cultural spirit; The continual groping spirit in multivariant and open surroundings is the third aspect, and the mode and demeanor of cultural spirit. These three aspects and three spitrits are motion of Genesis poets’s continual progression, and the inner element of their long lasting advancement.III. Construction of Genesis new standard works. In this part, the author analyzes after the World War, the exploration of the new generation’s building the Genesis new standard works under multivariate circumstance. The author believes that under the aureole of the former generation poets, the new generation have double worries of eagering to surpass the ancestors and be approved and confirmed, which is the mental element of the new generation poets’construction of new standard works. Poets in new generation exlpored in four aspects: strengthening the express of reality, construting multimedia art theory, taking the exchange of poetry from the mainland and Taiwan,and wrting the new development history of Genesis, which opened the pattern of Genesis poem society and undated the connotation of the old Genesis poem society itself.
