Abstract


With the establishment of the National Energy Regulatory Commission, the national energy strategy shows the higher demands of energy saving on the steel companies. As the energy-hungry of steel industry, the ironmaking process is facing unprecedented pressure. The energy managemnet of Baosteel ironmaking plant has experienced more than 20 years since "85.9" commissioning. Energy management in the case of energy production supply security, energy supply and demand management, energy-saving technology promotion and energy indicators has made significant progress, so a certain amount of management techniques and practices are accumulated. Energy management as an important component of professional management in ironmaking plant, played the role of professional support on continuous development and continued advancement. With the new No.1 BF putting into production, the development of Baosteel ironmaking plant also enter into a new stage, and energy-saving becomes the most urgent problem of the plant development. Facing the new situation and demands, summarization of the gains and losses of the original energy management, research and application of new energy management system have become the most urgent task of ironmaking plant.Focusing on the actual energy management of Baosteel ironmaking plant in this thesis, a new enery management system for meeting the needs of the times and the actual production is developed, and is applied effectively in the practice to provide guidance for production and reduce the energy consumption in prodution process. The new energy management and control system is the effective way to achieve the systematic、benefic development through out the process of ironmaking production manangment.The energy management and control system in ironmaking plant consists of six relatively independent functional modules:prewarning and control of energy-saving target, energy efficiency factor identification and control module, power source identification and control module, the energy measurement and statistical control module, energy professional audit module, energy-saving technologies and projects control module. The function and position of the six modules are interactive and support each other to ensure effective improvement of energy efficiency in the plant. In the management and control systems, the energy measurement and statistics as the basis, the control of "energy source" and "efficiency factor" as the main means, relying on the control of energy-saving target and energy professional audit, improving energy efficiency as the direction, appling the energy balance principle and the concept of equipment life cycle management, identifing fully the energy production point in ironmaking process, by controlling the enery flow, manufacturing flow, value stream and the "energy efficiency factor" affecting the energy efficiency in equipment condition, are to achieve the purpose of the minimum energy consumption producing the maximum value.
