Abstract


The modern Olympic Games is a sports -based social and cultural phenomenon , Olympic visual image as a spiritual and cultural material carrier , is a cultural symbol of the Olympic movement and the ideological content of artistic expression . 2008 Beijing Olympic Games just around the corner, around the Olympic visual image design art study at this moment , has important practical significance to promote the smooth development of China 's design art developments in the field of the Beijing Olympic Games . This article from the artistic point of view of design , by history , and now , the order of the future Olympic visual image design analysis . The article first introduces the concept of Olympic visual image design , content, and analysis of the course of its development , the Olympic Games representative sessions Olympic visual image design is selected as the research object , from the national culture , artistic, innovative , times four aspects of the design features of the visual image of the analysis of Olympic . The first paper based on the study will focus on analyzing the design of the 2008 Beijing Olympic visual image .
