Forging and dynamic loads at high temperature conditions , due to the complexity of the production conditions , the operator interface unit clamping contact state susceptible to change , it will affect the stability of the clamp . Therefore forging manipulator gripping study the mechanical properties of the interface is very important. In this paper, numerical calculation, the forging operation clamping interface static and dynamic mechanical properties were studied. Focuses on the jaw and forgings mechanical behavior of the contact interface are discussed for solving stability problems gripping and forging manipulator structure design and motion control to provide a reference . This major work are: ( 1 ) First, create a two-dimensional finite element model of clamping interface using static implicit algorithm explores the contact pressure distribution along the circumferential direction of forging forms ; and material constitutive model, not round forgings degrees , holding interfacial friction coefficient , jaw angle , size , and other parameters forgings were studied and analyzed to determine these parameters on the contact pressure distribution and magnitude of contact force ; considering forging jaws center of gravity would have a greater torque , on the basis the two-dimensional , three-dimensional clamping interface discussed pose transform in forging the contact pressure distribution along the longitudinal direction of the form of forging . ( 2 ) Second, given the machine would operate under the hammer impact will be affected, the clamp will produce rebound trend , jaw clamping force will change, this paper forging process holding the dynamic mechanical properties of the interface discussed analysis . In the physical model of the machine simplifies the analysis , based on the use of dynamic explicit algorithm focuses on the forging speed , spring stiffness , rebound hammer tongs quality for quantity , forgings maximum plastic strain effect ; explores the clamping jaw force in forging the changes under the action for further research nearly constant force output clamping system driven strategy provide a reference .
