Abstract

Performance grafted starch slurry was prepared in order to increase the grafting efficiency of the grafted starch slurry, the paper prior to the copolymerization reaction in the starch with a vinyl monomer to be grafted, through the allyl etherified starch pretreatment polymerizable carbon - carbon double bond, and then introduced in the starch macromolecule containing a carbon - carbon double bonds of the starch with acrylic acid, and methyl acrylate monomer to perform graft copolymerization reaction, the aqueous phase synthesis acrylic graft ether starch (AS-g-PAA), and methyl acrylate-grafted etherified starch (AS-g-PMA), and explore allyl etherified pretreatment AS-g-PAA and AS-g-PMA graft efficiency also studied the impact of such pretreatment on the performance of the AS-g-PMA. And by changing the etherification agent feeding of starch than regulation starch allyl degeneration depth study the allyl ether starch pretreatment intrinsic link between the depth and grafted starch slurry graft efficiency and performance. The experimental results show that in the graft copolymerization reaction before the starch is pretreated by allyl, allyl starch a degree of substitution in the 0.01-0.068 within etherified pretreatment method can make AS-g-PAA and the AS-g-PMA graft efficiency of 10% -20% increase, and can significantly improve the adhesion properties of the fiber and the serosa performance of AS-g-PMA slurry. The experiments confirmed AS-g-PMA slurry etherification degree of substitution of 0.011-0.023 appropriate. Starch allyl etherification pretreatment Grafted Starches grafting efficiency not only a new way, and can improve the the grafted starch slurry application performance. Starch allyl ether, a pretreatment preparation process, to clarify the NaOH dosage, isopropanol - the content of water in the reaction medium of water, the reaction temperature, reaction time, and allyl chloride was also studied on the feed ratio of the starch and other process parameters allyl etherification reaction efficiency. Experimental results show that the process parameters taken into account has a significant impact on starch allyl etherification reaction efficiency of NaOH allyl chloride molar ratio of 1.5:1, a water content of 20%, under 30 ° C conditions. reaction for 24 hours, and can make the efficiency of the reaction is maintained at more than 50%. In addition, this paper also studied through experiments mixing ratio between the AS-g-PMA and PVA1799 the fiber adhesion properties and serosa performance impact, and to explore the AS-g-PMA sizing performance. Through the comparison with the target formulation, to investigate the feasibility of the AS-g-PMA slurry instead of the PVA. The experimental results show that, compared with the commonly used in slurry formulations in this sizing, AS-g-PMA can under the same conditions to maintain the sizing quality significantly reduced levels of PVA.
