Abstract

In recent years, accidents of ships’ collision happened frequently. It is a critical problem to collision accident investigation, summary experience and ensured safety of navigation, but collision accident investigation is the basis. So the focus is how to improve investigation objective, scientific and true.At first, this article is introduced related knowledge which investigates to the ships collision accident. Mainly includes: the investigation goal, the step, the content, the characteristic of case trying, the accident analysis, the evidence collecting method and the particulars of judging dangerous condition and so on. In the ships collision accident investigates, accident’s real reappearance is very useful to analysis of particulars and whether the give-way and stand on vessels’ obey the rules. It is very important to the investigation. Therefore, in the real accident investigation, the evidence collection and the particulars of judging dangerous condition are the key.The article systemically introduced the AIS composition, the application, the advantages and possibility of applied to maritime affair investigation, the data errors, the appliance in evidence collecting and the related essential factor calculating. It is emphasized that using the method of Mercator and approximate method to calculating the related essential factors based on AIS and method of acquired partial data processing, then acquired other factors’ information. It. is source of accident reappearance and the collision accident investigation.
