Objective:To explore the charactistics of the risk factors of coronary artery disease (CAD) in women and the effect of these factors on the severity of coronary artery lesions by studying the relationship between the risk factors of CAD in women and the prevalent rate of CAD and the degree of coronary artery lesions.Methods:541 female patients with CAD were analyzed retrospectively in our hospital between January 2005 to March 2008,According to inclusion criteria,463 patients were included in our study.All patients received coronary angiography,Coronary artery bypass graft,coronary stent implantation or coronary balloon angioplasty,coronary artery fistula or muscle bridge,congenital heart diseases,the wind Moist heart disease,hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathy were excluded.According to the results of coronary;angiography,all patients were divided into two groups:the CAD group and the control group(no CAD group),CAD group:240 patients,mean age 59.37±7.62years;control group:223 patients,mean age 58.95±8.52 years old,In the CAD group:according to the different types of coronary artery lesions,all patients are divided into three groups:Group A-type,GroupB-type, Group C-type:according to the different vessel of coronary artery lesions,all patients are divided into three groups:Group single-vessel,Group double-vessel,Group triple-vessel;according to Gensini total score,all patients are divided into five groups: Group 1:5 to 10 scores,Group 2:11 to 20 scores,Group 3:21 to 34 scores,Group 4:35 to 64 scores,Group 5:65 to 168 scores,Menopausal,hypertension,diabetes,lipid disorders,menopause age,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,LDL-C/HDL-C and TG/HDL-C were analyzed and compared,Results:These indexes have significant differences between the CAD group and the control group(P＜0.01),Menopause,hypertension, diabetes and lipid abnormalities in the different vessel groups of coronary artery lesions have significant differences(P＜0.01);hypertension,diabetes and lipid abnormalities in the different type groups of coronary artery lesion and Gensini total score groups have significant differences(P＜0.05):TC.TG,LDL-C,TG/HDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C in the different vessel of coronary artery lesions,different types of coronary artery lesions have significant difference(P＜0.05).:LDL-C and LDL-C/HDL-C among Gensini total score groups have significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Menopause,menopausal age,hypertension,diabetes,lipid disorders and the serum indexes(TC,TG,LDL-C, HDL-C,LDL-C/HDL-C,TG/HDL-C) play an important role in the occurrence and development of CAD in women,With these risk factors increase(except for HDL-C), the prevalent rate of CAD and the severity of coronary artery lesions increase significantly,however,there is a negative correlation between HDL-C in blood lipids and the prevalent rate of CAD and the severity of coronary artery lesions.
