Abstract


The corridor of Hunan and Guangdong were pounded by Lei river,Wu river, ChongLing river,LianJiang river and the passage binding with their land compose.In the past,the corridor of Hunan and Guangdong not only were the national important exchange channel,but also the development axis of the political,economic,military and cultural exchanges in the area of adjacent area of Guangdong and Hunan.The Ming and Qing Dynasties,the corridor of Hunan and Guangdong had been distributing the most populations and the cities in the areas of adjacent areas of Guangdong and Hunan.The Ming and Qing Dynasties, transportation trade was prosperous and the social economy was developed in the region of corridor.Simultaneously,the region was equipped with the numerous government agencies,the army and all levels of schools along the route of corridor of Hunan and Guangdong.Obvious,the route of corridor were the center of political,military and cultural in the adjacent areas of Guangdong and Hunan. The existence of the corridor promoted the growth of population,the prosperous of city and the development of mountainous area inv the adjacent areas of Guangdong and Hunan.The corridor played the unreplaceable role in the local socio-economic development.The Central authorities of Ming and Qing Dynasties set up all kinds of government offices and accredited the massive armies along the route in the corridor in order to ensure the smooth flow of traffic corridors,also had led the adjacent area of Guangdong and Hunan to region entire society’s interactive development.The corridor of Hunan and Guangdong and the adjacent area’s social development of Guangdong and Hunan had the inseparable relations,but the tremendous role of transport corridors are mainly embodied in the region along the corridor.Because of inconvenient transportation and sparse population,the society of the remote mountainous away from the corridors developed slowly.
