Abstract


Radar seeker signal processing system design involves many complex technology of signal processing theory, and due to the working environment and the purpose of use of the different systems of the type, design, there is a big difference. The background of the sea clutter radar seeker by the clutter is very serious, especially in the case of high grazing angle, strong sea clutter target detection is very difficult. More widely at home and abroad for shore-based radar or small grazing angle sea clutter theoretical research and has achieved a lot in the high grazing angle sea clutter characteristics and under this condition signal processing research is still immature, less practical application. In this paper, strong sea clutter high grazing angle CFAR detection technology as the main research content. Firstly, the basic theory of the sea clutter a more detailed description, combined with the actual topic, focusing on the statistical characteristics of the sea clutter, the use of more common use of radar cross section σ0 description of sea clutter intensity, research incident angle of the radar beam, sea conditions and other factors on the sea σ0, a brief introduction to some other method to describe the characteristics of sea clutter. For practical application, to discuss the characteristics of the high range resolution radar clutter and sea clutter characteristics of the radar seeker, and a brief introduction to the widely used anti-sea clutter target detection in sea clutter environment measures. CFAR processing is an important part of the signal detection technology as a front-end processing or pre-processing has been widely applied in many signal processing system. False alarm probability measure an important indicator of the detection system, the serious give false alarm detection system lead to serious loss of performance or even failure. The subject of this article looking for the the CFAR processing methods, to meet the radar seeker in the work of the special requirements of the sea clutter. CFAR classic analysis of their own characteristics and drawbacks, and the proposed adaptable non-parametric CFAR processing technology for the detection system. Finally, several groups of ideal clutter model and simulation using the Monte-Carlo method on several basic traditional parametric CFAR processing methods and non-parametric CFAR detection generalized symbol detector performance analysis, testing the validity and limitations of the different treatment methods, combined with high-resolution radar seeker detecting surface targets with high grazing angle characteristics, the practical application of choice for CFAR processing method.
