Abstract


At present, China Telecom backbone network construction has been maturing, while at the access layer in a variety of technical solutions is very competitive , FSO technology is a new broadband access technology , and fiber optic lines compared to its short construction period , low cost, is to solve the \It also has a weather-sensitive , transmission distance is limited and other obvious shortcomings. Papers for practical FSO system through analysis of more in-depth exposition of the composition of FSO technology and core technology . The atmosphere through the channel of research, given FSO systems operating wavelength selection principle . Paper discusses light FSO systems , lasers through comparative analysis of vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers pointed at FSO system has good application prospects. Paper studied the effects of atmospheric laser propagation atmospheric absorption, scattering , turbulence and thermal blooming effects , atmospheric channel model was constructed . The main contents of the paper work for the first time in our country lies in the southern region completed a telecommunications network transmission test FSO systems , field trips FSO systems for system availability . Collected through the analysis of experimental data obtained from the weather conditions and the performance of FSO systems is the most important factor affecting the experimental results . Meanwhile according to the operator's business at the request of FSO products in the telecommunication network application and implementation of the project put forward corresponding measures . Studies have shown that , FSO systems are more suitable for short-distance connections in the city application, the application range of web -based applications , specifically in the last one thousand meters broadband access, enterprise , campus building bridges between the discrete area network , metropolitan fiber optic network connecting shunt , PHS, 3G, UMTS wireless base station connection or back-up channel , it is important to use a backup route , emergency use, and no optical cable engineering environments occasions.
