Abstract


Wei Yuan was the beginning of Chinese modern philosophy figures, he advocated Jinwen, attention to statecraft, governance the three achievements in the modern, and made a lot of social effectiveness for the people, he also cited the West to expand the Chinese Natural Science philosophical view. Researching on the origin and development of Chinese philosophy, many schools have been emphasizing on "governance." "Governance" of the practice of conversion is the "statecraft", which is the purport of Chinese philosophy, but also Wei Yuan’s ideology revealed modern salvation and enlightenment. Wei Yuan’s statecrafted actions and ideology,which had made many progress on current society situation. He was concerned that people’s livelihood and adapt to the times, made the Jinwen and history available, used the practical achievements and western culture to rescue China, and also leaded people into the modern world. Among the national and social crisis,volatility and changes in the modern made Wei Yuan’s understood the importance of the Confucian conception which King outside and saint inside unified. His concern for the state and the people of fate, with the learn from foreigners to compete with foreigners to rescue China , proved his economic statecraft feelings once again.
