Abstract


With the global economic integration, mergers and acquisitions in Chinese economic development plays a more important role. Status of Chinese pharmaceutical industry as a whole is more than the number of enterprises, small scale and weakness of R&D capability, low market share, etc.After a series of large-scale mergers and acquisitions, it will help Chinese pharmaceutical industry to get out of the tight spot which lead the industry scattered resources and competitiveness. However, various statistical studies also show that Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises have been high failure rate of mergers and acquisitions.Therefore, pharmaceutical companies and M&A risk analysis the appropriate risk control strategies which based on the analysis mentioned above can help Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises to avoid M&A risk and improve the success rate of mergers and acquisitions so as to enhance the overall competitiveness of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises.
