Abstract


The end of 2006 , China's banking industry is full liberalization , China has canceled all form of establishment of foreign bank ownership, management rights ( including ownership ) restrictions to allow foreign banks to provide RMB business services to customers in China , national treatment to foreign banks . Relative to China 's commercial banks , foreign banks have many strengths , the capital structure is a very important one . Currently listed Bank has become one the only way for the development of commercial banks in this macro environment to study the relationship between capital structure and performance of China 's listed banks , other commercial banks in China has just listed upcoming good Lessons significance . More research capital structure and performance of the listed companies in domestic relations literature , the capital structure of the listed banks and Performance , however , is relatively small, but also for the performance , mostly ROE or other profitability indicators to measure In fact , the measure of the operating performance of the commercial banks in addition to profitability , liquidity, safety and growth indicators . To this end, we draw on previous research methods based on , first using factor analysis , three indicators measured from six selected four common factors and their contribution to the weight , to arrive at a measure the Bank Performance indicators . Then its conclusions about the relationship of the listed bank's capital structure and operating performance as the dependent variable and the other variables in the regression , the empirical results show that : the stake of the state-owned shares and there is no significant relationship between the bank's operating performance ; stake of corporate shares and the bank 's operating performance was significantly positive correlation ; stake of the outstanding shares of the bank 's operating performance is negatively correlated ; stake of the largest shareholder is negatively correlated with the operating performance of listed banks ; top five shareholders holdings showed a weak positive correlation between the proportion of bank operating performance ; Top Ten Shareholders of proportion with a positive correlation between the operating performance of listed banks ; Ownership Concentration Index ( including the top five and top ten shareholders ) and the Bank no significant linear relationship between the performance ; Finally, on the basis of this conclusion , analyze the causes , with practice , relevant policy recommendations to improve the capital structure of China 's listed banks .
