Abstract


Since 2002, China's export of aquatic products ranked first in the world, about the world 10% of total fish trade, especially after China's accession to WTO, aquatic products export trade has entered a stage of development faster. At the same time, China's aquaculture industry is also subject to foreign technical barriers to trade up to one of the industries, the resulting loss is very heavy. Japan, the U.S., the EU and South Korea is the country's major export markets of aquatic products. These countries and regions by virtue of the technology, management, environmental protection and other areas, in the \a series of significant impact. This paper analyzes the main export markets of China and the export of aquatic products overview, elaborated Japan, the U.S., the EU and South Korea on aquatic relevant regulations and standards, an overview of China's aquatic encountered technical barriers to trade and its impact. Secondly, the use of extended gravity model studied quantitatively major export market-related criteria of drug residues in aquatic products export trade. Then combine Zhangzidao Fishery Group Co. case, deal with technical barriers to trade on corporate positive measures taken were summarizing. Finally, based on the above analysis, from the two levels of government and enterprises put forward countermeasures and suggestions deal with technical barriers to trade. Studies show that China's export of aquatic products market is still relatively concentrated, the importing country vulnerable to the impact of technical barriers to trade. Different markets for China's exports of specific species requirements exist similarities. The overall average price of exports slow climb. TBT on China's aquatic products export trade have negative impacts but also has some positive effects. Through econometric empirical analysis, foreign drug residue standards for export of aquatic products have significant negative effects. Maximum residue limits of foreign drugs increased by 1%, the trade volume between China's relevant export of aquatic products will decrease 0.14 percent. As the EU chloramphenicol residue limits reduced, from 2002 to 2006, China's exports of aquatic products related categories loss of about $ 24 million. China's aquatic products export enterprises in the event of technical barriers to trade, you should actively communicate with relevant government departments, learn about the latest event dynamic, take appropriate measures to calmly deal. In response to foreign technical barriers to trade in the process, plays a leading role in the relevant government departments, enterprises should meet the relevant government departments to prepare a list of working together across the barriers to collaborative government.
