Polycarbonate (polycarbonate, the PC) its good light resistance, weather resistance, flexibility and high impact strength and other characteristics of a small proportion of parts for a variety of transparent material of choice. Where large complex-shaped parts of the surface of the transparent polycarbonate is widely applied, such as car windshields, cockpit cover, LCD light guide plate. PC in large size transparent member forming method, the use of conventional molding methods such as hot-plate molding, injection molding, easy to produce in the processing of high residual stresses and limit their application in high quality PC products. Injection compression molding method can effectively solve the problem of internal stress products, suitable for processing high precision requirements. In the injection compression molding, the polymer material change in behavior is very complex, using the empirical method prone to large errors, it is difficult to meet the requirements of high-quality products, not well guide practice. This paper describes the characteristics of injection compression molding process, injection molding and compression molding technology at home and abroad research status, noting that use of polycarbonate injection compression molding large parts feasible and important research significance. For the study of injection compression molding process, this paper uses Moldfow software for small size polycarbonate thin-walled injection compression molding were simulated, and according to the compression molding conditions were simulated experimental results and simulation results agree more ideal, proved limited element model is correct, and studied the mold temperature, melt temperature and other process parameters on the Deformation of products. The small size of PC parts based on the study to the rear window of a car as the research object, the establishment of a different pouring and cooling systems finite element model and numerical simulation; to warpage, weld lines, air bubbles and other indicators were gating system model for optimization of the cooling system model is based on the cooling effect and warpage were optimized for the PC after injection compression molding automotive glass provides optimum finite element model. By numerical simulation and orthogonal experiment method are combined study of large-size PC auto glass injection compression molding process, using very poor method for the optimal combination of process parameters and analysis of the various process parameters on product quality were investigated by variance The method of analysis of the various factors affecting the significance was evaluated after the actual processing of automotive glass to provide a reference PC.
