Abstract

With the wide application of AC / DC switching power supply , low-power (3W-5W) AC / DC switching power supply market has great potential . EMI (electromagnetic interference ) pollution is already the fourth largest environmental nuisance , it is not only on the human body , but also have a very large industry, and other hazards . The energy issue has always been concerned about the problem, because energy is limited , we need to do is energy-saving . The focus of this research is how to develop both environmental EMI pollution and power consumption AC / DC small power . The frequency jitter approach to spread spectrum , the energy to reduce the unit band , thereby reducing the switching power supply of EMI . It is based on the changes of the pseudo-random number , in one clock cycle on the basis of the frequency of the oscillator is modulated , the modulator molecules and harmonic noise can be limited to reduce the operating frequency of a few percent . Then add some of the traditional way to reduce EMI and then in the whole circuit , such as increasing the EMI filter , snubber circuits , Y capacitor to further reduce the whole of EMI . Which makes the EMI radiation is reduced to meet the environmental EMI testing standards . This paper uses a chip in the intermittent mode to reduce standby power consumption of the whole machine . Standby case MOSFET turn-off losses with the switching frequency is proportional to , and thus the higher the frequency of loss is higher. Therefore, we design in standby mode , the PWM controller should automatically reduce the frequency , thereby increasing the efficiency of the unit , reducing standby power consumption . Ultimately to achieve the Energy Star standards and blue angel , standby power consumption < 0.3W . In this paper, the PWM IC design and design of the machine for this PWM IC application circuit is completed . Finally, there is the the finished test results and the test results of the whole application circuit are ideal .
