Abstract

With the rapid development of industrial production , gas cabinets Wiggins is widely applied in our country , in which the high pressure gas cabinets occupy the majority of the market share , and has good prospects for development. But China is not Wiggins storage tank design specifications , designers usually simplified method for gas cabinets Wiggins structural design calculations , making the structural design there are many unsatisfactory areas . Therefore, how to establish a reasonable model Wiggins gas tank and to clarify the mechanism of the force to become a serious problem . Firstly, using the finite element program ANSYS, APDL language to use for different structural forms of Wiggins gas cabinets for parametric modeling , calculation and analysis of its role in a variety of load cases deformation under stress and their distribution , and in accordance with static calculation results . Wiggins gas tank on the modal analysis , the fundamental vibration period to identify the structure and form of vibration , Wiggins accurately calculate the gas tank in the deformation under wind loads and internal forces . The results show that pressure is the most unfavorable cylindrical shell loads, wind loads is the top most unfavorable load case . In the wind loads, the gas tank maximum equivalent stress occurs , the position of the column shell and top shell of the junction , but far less than the maximum equivalent stress yield strength of steel , which shows structural damage static strength is not the decisive factor . Secondly , the paper carried a gas tank Wiggins cylindrical shell stability analysis, by changing the cylindrical shell wall , vertical stiffener cross-section and arranged circumferentially spaced stiffeners section and find the right stability of cylindrical shells greatest impact factors for the structure provides the basis for further optimization . Meanwhile, the structure of the piston eigenvalue buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis, research in different inclination , different initial defects on the piston buckling bearing capacity. The results show that , when considering nonlinear structural state , the piston structure is much smaller than the linear buckling bearing capacities calculated critical load ; piston at different inclination , the initial defects on the piston buckling capacity greater impact. By the calculation analysis shows that: buckling of structural damage is a major factor .
