Abstract


With the continued development of the Chinese society , economy , the level of urbanization is gradually increased , the urban population will continue to grow . The city 's housing problem facing a huge challenge . We need to have advanced and reasonable , the national development planning theory , the theory of urban design , residential design philosophy to guide us . The theory of the history of the development of Western developed countries and advanced planning , urban design theory have a good reference for us . Of course, this is definitely not say that the overall copy we can依葫芦画瓢therefore , after all, the country-specific conditions - economic and social environment are different from the historical stage of development which is not the same . We need to be selectively targeted to absorb the essence of advanced Western theories according to their specific situation , but also the development of these advanced theories , become our own set of systems theory . But in the end what is a theoretical reference and development potential , and is practicable ? Successful experiences and lessons we must learn from the path taken by the Western developed countries . Understand the course of development of the Western Urban Design Trends , is to learn from the successful experience of developed Western countries and to avoid the mistakes of one of the shortcut . Should the process of the development of urban design trend of Western as well as its social background has a relatively comprehensive understanding . Grasp the context of its development , and explore the law of development , at the same time to predict trends , so that we can learn from the advanced concept is more objective , more rational , more scientific judgment . Firstly, through a review of the course of development of the modern Western urban design trend since , from the general to sort out the basic context of the development of various trends and mutual relationships and classification ; summary of modern Chinese urban residential areas since the different stages of development ; both internal development and the rule of contrast, the design of the residential area of China at this stage to make a position ; Finally, to predict future trends .
