Abstract


In this paper, the Mu Us Desert Shaer Li , Tao Li , Kigawa three research areas , for example, to study the use of vegetation ecology settlers grazing pasture species composition, functional group composition and biological diversity of plant communities were Quantitative classification , and settlers grazing pasture plant community characteristics , soil characteristics and degradation gradient were analyzed , the main findings are as follows: ( 1 ) Mu Us Sandland settlers grazing pasture plant community consists of 33 families 89 are 107 kinds of plants. The dominant families were Asteraceae , Poaceae , Leguminosae and Chenopodiaceae . From the point of view of plant community composition of life forms , most species of perennial herbaceous plants , a biennial herb , followed by shrubs , semi-shrub species at least . Water ecotypes from the plant community composition point of view, the more xeric plants species plant species . From the composition of plant communities livestock palatability of view, livestock edible plant species most, followed by livestock without food plant species , and least favored by livestock species . (2) TWINSPAN classification results show that Mu Us Sandland settlers grazing grassland plant communities composed mainly of two types of communities : forb communities and oil Artemisia communities . Forbs Species rich to an annual, biennial and perennial herbaceous plants , shrubs, semi- shrubs smaller proportion , mainly in the dune wetlands in ; Artemisia Artemisia Oil dominant communities , shrubs, semi- shrubs proportion large, an annual, biennial and perennial herbaceous herb generally appear as a companion species communities , mainly in the dunes . ( 3 ) the distribution of plant communities in the herdsman roughly around the existence of such a law: herdsman house at a distance closer area , species richness and species richness of each functional group decreased , community coverage and lower cover of each functional group , to reduce soil nutrients , soil reduces fine material , soil crusts development is also poor ; situation in the area away from the house opposite . However, in certain grazing intensity, at a distance closer herdsman housing areas and perennial herbaceous plants in the coverage of an increasing trend , do not eat animals and plants species coverage will increase to some extent .
