Abstract


Objective To observe Chengqi Tang (Taohechengqitang, THCQT) experimental blood pooling evidence of rat vascular matrix metalloproteinase -2 ( Matrix Metalloproteinase - 2, MMP - 2 ) and metalloproteinase- 2 tissue inhibitor ( TissueInhibitor of Metalloproteinase -2 , TIMP -2) gene expression , to explore the mechanism of action of leptin on . Methods Escherichia coli endotoxin establish blood pooling rat model of leptin on rats modeling gavage drug group , remove the blank control group, model group , drug group rats carotid artery using semi quantitative RT-PCR method to detect the MMP-2, TIMP-2 gene expression analysis of gene expression changes . Results compared with the blank control group , model group, MMP-2 gene expression increased significantly reduced TIMP - 2 expression (all P <0.01 ) ; compared with the model group , drug group to reduce the expression of MMP-2 gene , increasing TIMP-2 expression (all P <0.01 ) . Conclusion leptin on to alter the experimental blood pooling certificate rats arterial wall of MMP-2 , of TIMP- 2 gene expression , which may be one of the mechanisms of many diseases Chengqi Decoction .
