Objective: The purpose of this project is to observe the treatment of elderly patients with community -acquired pneumonia Artemisia annua turtle soup clinical efficacy , provide clinical data to further explore in the medical treatment of elderly CAP mechanism . Methods: 60 elderly patients with CAP patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group , the treatment group of 30 patients given the oral administration of Chinese medicine decoction ; control group of 30 patients were treated with Western medicine antibiotics oral and systematic observation of symptoms, signs , and physical and chemical examination before and after treatment and other indicators. Results: Clinical observations show that , to improve dry cough , sputum less quality the sticky , spontaneous , Shenjuan , fever , etc. , the treatment group was significantly better than the control group , the treatment group clinical effective rate is 53.33% , with a total effective rate of 86.67% in the control group effective rate is 20% , the total effective rate of 60% . Statistically, the two groups of clinically significant efficiency , total efficiency showed a significant difference (P <0.05), the treatment group was significantly better than the control group . Conclusion : Artemisia annua turtle soup in the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia yin better efficacy and found no adverse reaction , is worthy of further promotion .
